Naturopathic postpartum care offers a space to be nourished and supported with what your body needs for vital motherhood, including herbal medicine and the five main cross-cultural practises for healing: rest, warmth, nourishing foods, bodywork and community.

Postpartum care is offered in Waiheke Island, Aotearoa.

The Pregnancy & Postpartum Journey

Here’s a list of intentional offerings for new mothers that are offered from the last few months of pregnancy to the first 40 days & beyond.

  • We meet before 30 weeks of pregnancy to talk through your needs, and what support could look like once you're earthside with your newborn.

    This 30 minute meeting is free so we can get to know each-other & see if it’s the right fit. If it’s feeling good, together we start shaping a postpartum plan built around you.

  • A sacred gathering to honour you before birth, held by the women who love you most. A blessing way ceremony celebrates you, the mother, as you cross into this new rite of passage.

    A Mother Blessing could look like:

    • Creating an altar

    • Sitting in circle with your loved ones and sharing prayers and celebrations of mother & baby

    • Sealing intentions with the ancient red thread ritual

    • Gentle positive birth storytelling & guided visualisation

    • Cacao ceremony & dance

    • Belly art

    2.5 hour ceremony ~ $350.00

    Available to Waiheke Island & Auckland (travel fees apply).

  • Together we map out your fourth trimester ~ exploring food preferences, herbs & recipes for healing, health concerns, building your support network, and guidance to trusting your intuition as a new mother.

    This session can be an exploration of the in home care offerings that I’ll provide, or simply creating a healing plan to implement by you & your support people.

    1 hour ~ $160.00

    Available online or in person on Waiheke.

  • Medical herbalist formulated herbal package for optimal recovery, supporting healing, nourishing your body, and easing the transition into motherhood.

    Includes personalised herbal tea blends, healing sitz bath & yoni steaming herbs, Seleno Health ceremonial cacao, and a nourishing herbal tonics to replenish vital vitamins & minerals and support breastfeeding.

    Herbal Package/Gift Box ~ $250.00. Available nation wide via NZ Post.

  • The most tender window of postpartum, held with hands-on support so you can rest, heal, and bond with your baby feeling held and nourished.

    I’ll bring herbal infusions and a meal for you, and the rest of the session will look different depending on what is needed.

    In home care offerings include:

    • Sitz baths or steaming

    • Support with washing, dishes, & cooking

    • Massage

    • Belly binding

    • Guided meditation

    • Holding space for birth integration

    • Meal prepping kai for the freezer

    • Holding baby while you shower or stretch

    3 hour visits in the first 40 days ~ $290.00, which includes a meal and tea.

    Visits outside of this period is $99.00 per hour.

Healing Package

Support optimal recovery, healing, deep replenishment, and ease during the transition into motherhood with the herbalist formulated healing package.

Includes personalised herbal tea blends, healing sitz bath & yoni steaming herbs, ceremonial cacao, and a nourishing herbal tonic to replenish vitamins & minerals and support mama in breastfeeding.

My vision for Wildfolk postpartum care is to provide nourishing, mother-centred support to honour this rite of passage that every family deserves to be held in with reverence.

In person sessions are available on Waiheke Island, whilst postpartum planning is available via zoom & herbal packages / gift boxes are available NZ wide.
